Refresh of NorCalF's Goals
Gregg Fuhriman
September, 2017
I thought it would be useful to post the roots of NorCalF's history as
we celebrate the 20th anniversary of NorCalF's founding. But more
importantly, after looking through the photos that were shared of this
latest BarnBQ layout, I'd like to remind the group of NorCalF's big
picture modeling philosophy and goals.

Thanks, Gregg, for the great summary of NorCalF’s roots and your
encouragement to keep improving our modeling. You remind me of some of
Chris Palomarez’s articles describing the founding philosophy of
Free-mo.

Free-mo Curves
Gary Green
February, 2018
At a recent Free-mo event, a new module anticipated using 30” radius
curves that would be used by “mainline” or “through traffic” trains.
This led me to look back at the Free-mo standard regarding curves.

West Fontana
Gary Green
February, 2018
West Fontana is a small module that models nearly exactly the location
of the west end of a siding on the Second (Pasadena) District of the
Santa Fe in Southern California. Navigation buttons are at the bottom of
each page.
